Witchbrook After Graduation

Quick Answer

Witchbrook continues beyond graduation. You can remain as a postgraduate, complete more of your knowledge collection, improve earlier exam grades and develop your witch business.

Witchbrook continues beyond graduation. You can remain as a postgraduate, complete more of your knowledge collection, improve earlier exam grades and develop your witch business. Graduation is an academic milestone rather than a statement that you have already finished everything in Mossport.

The TGS 2026 developer interview also describes learning more advanced material as a postgraduate. That gives continued study a role alongside unfinished collection and business goals.

Graduation completes one stage of education

Academic progress works through exams. Passing the required assessments advances you, opening classes, spells, activities and certain dangerous areas. Each completed exam also entitles you to individual spellcasting tuition from Professor Carlyle.

That progression gives the graduation goal its shape: you are building the knowledge and skills needed for a final academic milestone. It is not simply a calendar notification after spending a fixed number of days in town.

In the TGS interview, the developers explain that strong exam results can allow advancement regardless of the season. They describe graduation as possible in around one and a half in-game years at the quick end. That is a development estimate, not a deadline everyone must meet or a guaranteed real-world completion time.

The same interview says time speed can be set by the player, with the standard setting making an in-game year roughly forty real hours. The earlier college blog gives around forty to fifty hours for the first year depending on playstyle. Those figures describe pacing in different development contexts; multiplying them into an exact total would ignore how you choose to spend time.

Continue into postgraduate learning

The developers describe postgraduate study as an opportunity to learn more advanced material after graduation. The college therefore remains relevant instead of becoming a place you have no reason to revisit.

Eli provides a character example of that continuing academic life. He is introduced as a postgraduate who also works at the school shop and tutors other witches. His role shows that graduating and remaining part of the college community fit the setting.

It does not mean the player's postgraduate path automatically grants Eli's job or lets you become a professor. A possible teaching career appears only as an idea in earlier Q&A coverage, not as an announced career you unlock on graduation.

Collection entries contain information to learn, leaving a completion goal beyond an initial pass.

Fill the knowledge your initial studies did not complete

Your knowledge collection records specific information, not just whether you have seen an item once. Discovering a herb might reveal its description, while information about its growth time takes repeated growing to memorise.

That difference gives completion a purpose after you have enough knowledge to pass. You can succeed academically before every detailed field in every collection entry is filled.

Library books remain relevant while your character is still learning. The TGS hands-on account describes books about herbal tea, insects and birds, with recipes and information about where ingredients grow and when they are available. Once information has been memorised, you can consult the character's knowledge without needing to carry the corresponding book.

If knowledge completion is the goal you most enjoy, postgraduate play offers a reason to revisit materials and activities beyond the minimum that got you through the earlier assessments.

Improve grades rather than treating a pass as completion

The official postgraduate goals include improving grades in previous exams. A passing mark moves your education forward; it is not necessarily the best mark your witch can achieve.

Because assessment results depend on relevant knowledge, further study and practical experience are connected to that goal. You can return to a subject after learning more about the categories it tests, instead of assuming the result recorded on your first successful attempt is the only one you will ever have.

The published system does not specify a complete postgraduate retake procedure or its costs. What it does establish is the continuing objective: better earlier grades are part of the activities available after graduation.

Develop the business you already built

Your education and business grow together. Classes expand the goods and services you can provide; fulfilling orders improves customer relationships and opens business perks and upgrades.

Postgraduate play lets you continue developing that work rather than abandoning it once tuition has led you to graduation. You can also sell goods at Sunday markets, while crafting knowledge and access to ingredients remain useful to what you offer.

At home, seasonal herb planters reduce foraging trips, and unlockable greenhouses can keep herbs growing out of season. Those are practical ways your established home can support continued work. They are general progression systems, not buildings promised as exclusive graduation rewards.

Choose the unfinished goal that matters to you

The announced postgraduate directions are different kinds of continuation: more complete knowledge, stronger academic results, advanced learning and a more developed business.

You do not need to describe them as a reset or a new-game-plus mode to see their purpose. They let the witch who has already built a life in Mossport keep developing it after the initial academic goal has been reached.
