The announced US digital launch price for Witchbrook is $24.99. For a Nintendo Switch purchase, use the actual regional Nintendo offer when it is displayed.
Witchbrook's original Switch Digital product is scheduled for January 28, 2027. The correct starting point is Witchbrook for Nintendo Switch, rather than a price-comparison placeholder or the separate Switch 2 product.
What the $24.99 announcement covers
The price comes from the game-wide digital launch announcement. It is useful as the announced US figure, while further regional prices are due closer to launch.
The official Chinese-language Steam announcement also gives €25.49, with regional adjustment based on Steam standards and local currency context. That does not verify a Nintendo euro price for every country. Converting $24.99 into pounds, euros or another currency would produce a calculation, rather than Nintendo's published regional offer.
Check the product behind the price
A useful Nintendo price comparison needs all of these fields to match:
| Field | What to check |
|---|---|
| System | Nintendo Switch, if buying for the original system |
| Edition | Digital for the currently listed product |
| Country and currency | The offer appropriate to your account |
| Timing | Release is January 28, 2027; purchase availability must be checked separately |
The dedicated Switch 2 listing is another product. A matching game name and launch day do not announce a free upgrade, combined ownership or save transfer between editions. Do not use an assumed upgrade to justify one version's price.
Professor Wixx's classroom identifies the announced game. This scene does not display a regional Nintendo price or physical packaging.
Budget for online play only if you need it
The Switch product lists one player on a single system and one to four online. Online play requires a Nintendo Account, internet access and Nintendo Switch Online membership, sold separately. Nintendo also notes country availability limits.
That membership is a separate online-access cost rather than part of the announced base-game price. If you intend to play alone, the online group requirement should not be mistaken for an extra game edition. If you intend to play with friends, check the applicable online arrangement as well as the game offer.
No current Nintendo subscription fee or combined household total is established here; it would depend on the actual membership and regional offer you choose.
Physical prices will need a later announcement
Physical Standard and Collector's Editions are in development for after the initial digital release. Their platforms, dates, formats, contents and prices have not yet been detailed.
The $24.99 digital figure therefore does not price a Switch cartridge or collector's package. A retailer placeholder showing zero, an unavailable offer or a guessed December date does not fill that gap. If your aim is a boxed Switch purchase, wait for the physical product to name the platform and edition before comparing its price with the Digital offer.
