For the original Nintendo Switch version of Witchbrook, use the Nintendo Switch product labelled Digital, with a January 28, 2027 release date. The game is also coming to Switch 2, but that system has a separate product listing. You do not need to substitute the Switch 2 page to find the announced original Switch release.
Start with Witchbrook for Nintendo Switch. The link opens Nintendo's US storefront. Your account's country and the actual offer displayed for that region remain part of the purchasing decision.
Identify the version and edition
Before committing to an offer, match these fields to what you intend to buy:
| Product field | Original Switch purchase |
|---|---|
| Version | Nintendo Switch |
| Edition | Digital |
| Publisher | Chucklefish |
| Release date | January 28, 2027 |
The separate Switch 2 product shares the game name and release day. Shared artwork does not establish that buying one product gives you the other, and no free-upgrade or combined-ownership arrangement has been announced in the current information.
The original Switch product also has a Switch 2 compatibility field marked Untested. That describes a compatibility test that has not yet been completed for the original product; it is not a reason to ignore the original Switch version if that is the system you own.
Check the live Nintendo offer
The game's announced US digital launch price is $24.99. Use Nintendo's actual regional offer to confirm the price and purchase availability for your account.
When the live page presents an offer, check its country, currency, system and edition together. A US announcement cannot establish another region's final Nintendo price, and a currency conversion is not a published eShop offer.
The confirmed date is the digital release date. No Witchbrook-specific preload instructions, payment schedule or preorder bonus should be assumed from the existence of a product page.
Plan storage and your play arrangement
Nintendo currently estimates a 1.2 GB file size. Treat that as a planning estimate for this product rather than a final installation measurement or a guarantee about future updates.
The listed play modes are TV, tabletop and handheld. Nintendo includes its qualification that compatibility and play experience may differ on Switch Lite and that extra accessories may be required. This is not a published Witchbrook performance test or a declaration that Switch Lite is unsupported.
For players, the important split is one on a single system and one to four online. If you want an online group, Nintendo lists a Nintendo Account, Nintendo Switch Online membership and internet access as requirements. Membership is sold separately, and online features are not available in all countries.

An announced college classroom shows the game you are choosing. The screenshot does not demonstrate local multiplayer or performance on a particular Switch model.
The language list includes English, French, German, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese. Check the product's language field if that is a requirement for your household; it does not imply full voice acting.
Decide whether a download meets your needs
This Nintendo product is Digital. Physical Standard and Collector's Editions are being developed for after the digital launch, but the physical platforms, formats, prices and dates have not yet been detailed.
If you want the download, assess the correctly labelled regional Digital offer. If your requirement is a boxed Switch copy, the next useful announcement is the one that names that physical platform and edition. Neither the existing Digital listing nor the game-wide physical plan is a confirmed Switch cartridge preorder.
