Witchbrook's announced digital release date is January 28, 2027. Windows PC, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5 are included in that launch. As of October 29, 2026, the game remains unreleased.
This is now a specific calendar date. Older references to Winter 2025 or an unspecified 2026 release describe earlier plans, while a hoped-for Halloween release was a community expectation rather than an announced October date.

PS5 is a day-one platform in the release-date announcement, which thanks porting partner playeverywhere. Coverage that says PlayStation is only under consideration belongs to an earlier stage of development.
On PC, the current Steam product also shows January 28. A retailer mirror showing January 27 or an end-of-year placeholder should not take precedence over the current official announcement and product information. “PC” here refers to the announced Windows release; a native Mac or Android version is not included in this platform list.
Physical editions arrive on a later schedule
Physical Standard and Collector's Editions are in development, with release planned for a little while after the initial digital launch. The studio says this is intended to avoid affecting the release schedule and to give the physical editions the attention it wants for collectors.
That wording does not supply a physical delivery date. It also reserves the specific platforms and special-edition details for later, so January 28 should not be entered as a confirmed Switch cartridge, PS5 disc or Collector's Edition shipping date.
If playing at digital launch matters most, inspect the appropriate digital product. If owning a physical copy matters most, the later platform-and-edition announcement is the information needed to complete that decision.
Why older release references still appear
The first-look campaign gave Witchbrook a Winter 2025 window. On October 15, 2025, the development update moved the game into the following year while the team worked on its larger simulated world. The new release-date announcement replaces that broad 2026 target with January 28, 2027.
Some listings and articles retain older labels. For example, Xbox's day-one directory has carried a 2026 card even though the current game announcement gives the January date. That directory can identify its Game Pass grouping without establishing a different launch date.
There is no need to treat each outdated card or creator prediction as another official delay. Use the latest explicit game announcement and the product for the version you intend to play.
What is available before launch
You can open the official release announcement to follow launch and physical-edition details, or Witchbrook on Steam to wishlist the PC game.
The announcement's extended trailer shows more of spellcasting, study, the knowledge system, potion-making, tarot and covenmate stories. These activities help identify what is being released; a trailer or restricted media preview is not a public demo download.

No publicly downloadable demo or Early Access build has been verified in the current information. Nor does the calendar date alone establish a universal unlock hour, preload availability or every regional checkout arrangement. For those details, use your exact platform's offer when it is available instead of converting one storefront's displayed clock into a worldwide release time.
