The Witchbrook Wiki identifies itself as the official wiki and a player-maintained resource that anyone can edit. It is a useful starting point for revealed characters and published game information, with references leading back to development posts.
For the current launch plan, Witchbrook is scheduled for January 28, 2027. Some static wiki text still reflects an earlier release window, so use the date of the underlying announcement when an entry and a newer update differ.
Start at the homepage or Characters index
The homepage offers direct navigation to Cormac, Eli, Evadne, Hana, Kiara, Leif, and Pip. The Characters index brings those revealed covenmates together and separates them from other people in the world.
These seven entries are part of a planned cast of eleven romanceable covenmates. They are not a count of every character or every romance option in the finished game. The town also contains professors, shopkeepers, and other residents.
Use the index when you recognize a name but need to place it in context. Fable is the cottage familiar and business partner; Professor Carlyle leads the player's coven. Justin and Violet are the father-and-daughter pair associated with Harbour Home. These roles are different from being a romanceable classmate.
Hana is one of the revealed covenmates and an example of the characters accessible through the homepage navigation.

Follow the reference that answers your question
The Characters page cites specific development blogs, making it possible to move from a short reference entry to a fuller explanation. The relevant post depends on what you are trying to establish.
| What you want to understand | Referenced development post |
|---|---|
| How the city and its ordinary residents are simulated | Spellbound by Simulation |
| What a coven is and how classmates fit into college life | Back to School |
| The announced romance cast and relationship systems | Dating on Campus |
| Fable, Professor Carlyle, and the student-life progression loop | Life at Witchbrook |
| The furniture store, cottages, and gardens | Building a Home |
A character page can tell you someone's role without containing all the rules for the system around them. For example, knowing that Carlyle teaches spells does not by itself explain the college examinations that lead to those lessons. The student-life post provides that wider relationship.
This is also useful for romance information. The dating explanation covers spending time together, giving and receiving gifts, choosing activities, and progressing stories through friendship. A short character entry should not be treated as a complete gift list or a tested route through every relationship event.
Recognize links that lead to unfinished pages
The wiki is still developing alongside the game. In the Characters index, several links for subjects such as the college, covens, dating, and Harbour Home lead to MediaWiki edit or article-creation destinations.
A visible link therefore does not always mean a completed guide exists behind it. If it opens an edit or create-page view, return to the original entry and follow its developer-post references instead. This is particularly helpful when you are looking for a mechanic and the subject name appears in the index but has not yet received a full article.
The distinction also prevents an incomplete index from looking like a missing game feature. An unfinished wiki article says something about the reference resource's coverage, rather than proving that an activity or location is absent from Witchbrook.
Resolve information updated at different times
Two examples show why it is useful to check the relevant part of a page rather than assuming every field changed together.
The homepage's older Coming: 2026 text remains alongside a news area carrying the January 28, 2027 announcement. The announcement is the newer statement of the launch plan.
The Characters index lists Kiara among seven covenmates, while an older paragraph still says six have been revealed and names the earlier six. The dated dating blog explained the eleven-character total before Kiara's later introduction. Those pieces describe different reveal stages; they do not establish a reduction to six or a final total of seven.
For the current date and platform lineup, open the official release announcement. For a character's background or a mechanic, follow the entry's relevant reference and check whether a later reveal has added information.
Contribute through the wiki's editing route
The homepage links its invitation to edit to the wiki's own editing help. Use that route if you want to help improve a page. The existing reference format provides a useful model: identify the development post supporting a statement and keep its publication context clear.
This matters especially for a game still approaching release. Announced features, preview observations, and old design ideas can all appear in discussions, but they should not be merged into an apparently tested walkthrough. Keeping those distinctions visible makes the wiki easier to use as the game's public information grows.
