Witchbrook Multiplayer Cottages

Witchbrook's online co-op expands the land around Shadbrook Cottage to reveal additional player homes. The number unlocked depends on the players in the game. Each guest cottage is slightly smaller than the host's two-storey home, with its own interior and garden to decorate.

That arrangement gives friends individual living spaces while keeping them in the same world. You can also move furniture and change layouts while playing online, without stopping the session.

Recognise the three guest cottage styles

The home reveal describes three additional buildings with different architectural features.

Guest homeRevealed feature
Watermill cottageBuilt with a charming watermill
Brookside cottageA sunroom overlooks the brook
Cliffside cottageBuilt into the side of a cliff

These features help you recognise each building in the group layout. They are not published specialisations: no crafting bonus has been assigned to the watermill, and the sunroom has not been described as a stronger greenhouse.

The central distinction is between the host's larger inherited cottage and the smaller homes added for friends. The additional gardens still give each player room to create a personal outdoor space.

Decorate together without leaving online play

Friends can move furniture and change a cottage's layout while visiting, without disrupting online play. Separate homes are especially useful when players want different styles: helping a friend arrange a room does not mean every player has to share that design.

The furnishing system uses Telekinesis and a placement grid. Certain objects can stack on surfaces, wallpaper can be changed on individual walls, floors can differ by room and lamps can be switched independently. Those controls give each interior its own appearance even if players own some of the same furniture.

Harbour Home in the Docklands sells rotating furniture sets and colourways. Other shops, Sunday stands, seasonal events and some NPC rewards also supply clutter and special objects. Visiting town and doing consultations can therefore contribute to the personal space you are building.

Give your garden a practical role

Each guest receives a garden area as well as an interior. In the general gardening system, seasonal herb planters reduce foraging trips for potion, tea, salve and candle ingredients. That gives a garden a practical relationship with the shared business, beyond its appearance.

For a different kind of outdoor space, wildflowers can spread naturally and support beekeeping. Tileable paths and fences help organise the planting and decorations you choose.

Unlockable greenhouses grow herbs out of season, while other huts bring college tools closer to home. The reveal does not provide separate host-versus-guest outbuilding entitlements, so those systems describe possible progression on player land rather than structures promised to every guest immediately.

Share business activity while keeping your own student life

The TGS interviews describe co-op as several protagonists living their own lives in one world. Players can work together on a business, while each develops their own abilities and academic knowledge.

That gives the cottage arrangement a useful context. Personal homes support personal expression; shared commercial work gives you something to collaborate on beyond moving a friend's sofa. One player's new skill is not automatically a completed course for everyone else.

The home reveal does not settle save portability, host-offline access, cottage reassignment or the full editing-permission system. The confirmed arrangement is the in-session expansion, separate spaces and online decorating. Those features are enough to plan a group neighbourhood without assuming a particular save-ownership model.
