Witchbrook's wellbeing system reviews how you spend each day and adjusts your wellbeing level at its end. Looking after your witch can bring increased income, better deals, gifts and relationship benefits, and may improve exam performance. Social time and rest therefore connect with both your business and your education.
You do not need a published points formula to understand the main choice: filling every available moment with work is only one part of a successful day. The game also recognises enjoyable activities and how you treat the people around you.
How the daily review works
The announced sequence is straightforward: you go about your day, its events are tallied, and your current wellbeing level is adjusted. That is an end-of-day evaluation, rather than a promise that each friendly interaction instantly applies a visible sales multiplier.
TGS coverage shows the player going to bed and receiving a review of the day's activities. The revealed Day Summary also separates earnings and completed requests from an event log and wellbeing display. This gives you a place to connect what happened during the day with the condition your witch ends it in.
The example event log includes conversation, petting an animal and going to bed early. Those entries help explain what the review records. They do not establish that repeating those three actions is a universal optimal routine.

The event log lists a chat, petting an animal and going to bed early.
Actions that can raise or lower wellbeing
The published examples include ordinary moments around Mossport, not only special events.
| Activity or event | Announced relationship with wellbeing |
|---|---|
| Petting a dog | Can increase wellbeing |
| Walking in nature | Can increase wellbeing |
| Having a conversation with a friend | Can increase wellbeing |
| Using magic to help fix up the town | Included among the positive activities in the current game description |
| Staying up far too late | Might decrease wellbeing |
| Upsetting a friend | Might decrease wellbeing |
These examples make wellbeing relevant to decisions you already make. A walk through the woods can be more than a journey between objectives. A conversation with a covenmate can serve your social life as well as give that person a chance to react to the time, weather and their own circumstances.
The negative examples also make the whole day's context matter. Doing something pleasant does not mean the rest of the day's events disappear. The system tallies the day rather than describing a single action that overrides every other outcome.
What the bonuses affect
Income and deals
Increased income and better deals are two of the stated benefits. They matter because business earnings fund classes and can also go towards furniture, clothing and other purchases around town.
Sunday stalls and client deliveries give you different ways to use your witch business. Wellbeing sits alongside those activities as a condition that can benefit your results. It does not replace learning recipes, obtaining ingredients or completing the work a client needs.
No percentage has been established for the income or deal benefit. There is therefore no supported calculation showing that one extra conversation is worth a specific amount of money, or that resting always earns more than completing another order.
Gifts and relationships
Gifts and relationship benefits are also part of the announced bonus range. That makes social time useful in its own right, rather than a distraction from an economic plan.
Covenmates have personal stories and changing dialogue, and contact is one of the ways relationships develop. You can pursue friendship without romance. You do not have to ask somebody out to make a conversation part of your day.
A relationship benefit is not a published numerical affection reward. Likewise, the example of upsetting a friend should not be expanded into a fixed wellbeing penalty for every bad date or breakup.
Exams
The developers say looking after yourself might help your exam performance. The main academic preparation still comes from the relevant sections of your knowledge collection.
For a Magical Medicine exam, the examples include herbal tea, salve and Herbology knowledge. Merits provide access to the assessment, while accumulated knowledge determines your preparation. Wellbeing is an additional reason to look after your witch; it is not an announced substitute for learning the tested subjects.
Fit wellbeing into the day you already have
The most useful approach is to consider work, learning and enjoyable activities together. If you are visiting a friend, listen to their current dialogue. If you head into natural areas, allow time to explore rather than treating every journey only as a delivery route. When choosing whether to keep working late, remember that staying up too far is one of the disclosed negative examples.
You can then use the day's review to see what was actually recorded. This is more informative than assuming that a visually relaxing activity, a particular food or a favourite shop must have a hidden bonus.
Wellbeing is described as a level shaped by daily events. The available explanation does not identify it as the same thing as stamina, a hunger meter or spellcasting energy. Those systems should not be merged when planning how to spend your time.
